Santiago Square
This neoclassical enclave, surrounded by historic-artistic monuments, is the municipal heart and a vibrant centre for events and activities.
The construction of this enclave marks the beginning of neoclassical architecture in the archipelago. This square, together with a series of monuments located around it, was designated BIC Conjunto Histórico-Artístico Plaza de Santiago. It is currently the Gáldar Town Hall square, a venue for events and activities.
